Online researches

GTT would like to address the subject of online research. It is a new field in which some psychologists (mostly Americans) are trying to invent new research methods. We are counted among these psychologists. The GALATEO 2000 questionnaire, the philosophy of well being and good work, downloadable from this website, is an attempt to extend the field of an already on-going research.
The questionnaire is part of a research that is being carried out by us for AIDP Tuscany (Tuscany Region) organized by the Intermediate Society of Florence, and it has already been filled out (face to face) by 50 entrepreneurs, managers, union workers, and consultants of the Tuscany Region. The research includes, besides from the present questionnaire, in-depth interviews and TV shots.
We are now making the questionnaire available online to reach a larger audience, thus obtaining a better taring of the questionnaire itself. The objectives are even more ambitious: to experiment with new online research methods. This is a first attempt, still to be verified, to use the Internet as an empirical research method to be used in work psychology. Based on the collected data, new meaningful statistical methods could be implemented.
